We began selling our home cooked food from our grocery shop in Lewes.

The reaction was so positive that it inspired us to sell fresh as well as frozen food throughout Sussex and surrey. We expanded the business and moved to Station street in Lewes in 2003. Further success meant that we required more space in which to prepare our meals. At the same time our customers were asking if we would open a restaurant where they could relax and enjoy our food in ambient surroundings – and so here is Chaula's Indian Café Bar and Restaurant offering you.
